RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization)

Before you request our service, please try our FAQ page and find relevant questions or articles to resolve your problem. In many cases, you may be able to resolve your issue using the tips and troubleshooting steps indicated on the FAQ instead of seeking to return your product. If you checked out the FAQ page and are still having trouble with your Ritek / Ridata product, your product may need to be replaced.

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY! IT CONTAINS VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS, AS WELL AS LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS THAT APPLY TO YOU.

•  RITEK-branded hardware, flash memory products, or optical media products purchased in the U.S. or Canada come with a 1-year; 2-year; or lifetime limited warranty as specified in the package of the product, the invoice, or documentation accompanying the products.

•  This limited warranty ONLY covers defects in materials and workmanship in Ritek-branded products based on ordinary use. You must read, understand, and agree to our “
Limited Warranties and Return Policy” in order to receive our service.

•  We do NOT offer monetary refund or credit on your original purchase. WE SERVICE FOR PRODUCT REPLACEMENT ONLY. The money back guarantee policy depends on your point of purchase; please contact your vendor for more details.

•  You must prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk if the product is lost or damaged in shipment. We will return the repaired or replacement products to you with freight prepaid if your shipping address is within the United States (excluding Puerto Rico and U.S. possessions and territories) or Canada.

•  Before you ship the product to us, make sure to back up your data on the hard drive or any other storage device in the product. Remove any confidential, proprietary, or personal information. We are not responsible for any of its confidential, proprietary, or personal information; lost or corrupted data; or damaged or lost removable media.

•  Do NOT return products without an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. When you complete a request form and receive an RMA number via e-mail, detail shipping instructions (including a return address) will be provided to you. Please follow the instructions carefully in order to receive our replacement service. We do not guarantee for any returned product that is sent to an inappropriate service location.
